Geothermal probe system and cold local heating network for new housing development in Schrobenhausen

Green heat

Creating living spaces while at the same time ensuring a climate-friendly future. A project in Schrobenhausen has achieved just that: In the new “Kellerbergbreite” housing development, Bauer Resources has installed 119 geothermal probes together with a cold local heating network for sustainable heat supply. Over an area of 5.5 ha, a total of 64 apartment buildings and a kindergarten will use this green heat energy in the future. Successfully implementing this project required expert knowledge, state-of-the-art technology and high-quality materials. Bauer Resources relies on the expertise of specialized subsidiaries GWE and KLEMM Bohrtechnik. A community project as a flagship for the company’s extensive portfolio.
